Q:Where is pick up and drop off everyday? A: The camp meets at the grass circle park at Liberty Street and South End Ave. Drop off is at 10am and pick is at 2:30pm
Q. What will my child learn? Broadly, jr. artists will learn a lot about observation and several age appropriate art instruction concepts, including sketching, and techniques for using water colors and colored pencils. Hopefully, your child will also grow more confident in his or her abilities to explore and develop their own artistic abilities.
Q: What does my child need to bring everyday? A: Jr. artists should bring a packed lunch and water bottle. They should also apply sunscreen in the morning and wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes!
Q: What do the supply fees cover? A: A sketch book, and community water colors and drawing pencils.
Q. Will my child be safe? Yes! We are experienced baby sitters and certified in CPR. We also have an emergency incident plan in case anything serious should occur.
Q. What will you do in case of rain or bad weather? We have several indoor locations we will use with specific lessons associated with each. We love the outdoors, but know that excessive heat or rain might drive us indoors.
Q. Will the camp be fun? Yes! Making and learning about art is fun, but so is being with your friends. In addition to working on art, jr. artists will have free time, playground or sports time.
